Not well-made. Sharp edges and rattles inside.
I bought four at this price.
Same problems with each one.
Interferes with connection to iTunes
When connected to computer, only communicates with iTunes without charging.
iTunes has once refused to “see”iphone on this cable.
Use for charging only and get licensed Apple stuff for iTunes sync.
PROBLEMS
1. Can sync SOMETIMES without charging.
2. Cannot charge from computer loaded with itunes
3. Can charge from wall.
4. Poorly made

the product specifications said brand new but the one that ive received was bitten,the wire almost cut, and dirty and not working at all,also took a lot of time to arrive and no tracking number was issued.
a real waste of money,and first and last time to buy something from this company Chitek no thanks!!!!!!

Original Apple iPod Dock Connector to USB Cable
The photo shows an Apple-branded OEM cable, but the actual item is not. There are similarities, but when compared side by side with an Apple cable the differences are obvious. Still, it has been working just fine so far, no problems. I’m using it with a 30 GB Video iPod. It’s a slightly tighter fit on the iPod dock end than the original cable and I have to push harder for it to fit correctly, but once connected it works fine.

Though it is hard to tell whether this cable is fake or an OEM,
its performance and looks makes it one.
I didn’t want to pay a lot of money to buy OEM cable from apple’s store so I looked long and hard for a GOOD alternative on Amazon.
This was the closest to the OEM I could find.
It was cheap so I thought I might as well take a risk and buy it.
I do not regret this decision at all.
It IS an OEM.
(PS. I bought the cable from the seller: OEM Shop.
Apparently, the seller changed so I am not sure if it’ll be the same cable.
If the seller is from OEM Shop,
it’s real and I recommend you buy it if you’re looking for an extra Apple OEM cable)

Quickly received and looked like original;unfortunately, it didn’t fit the iPhone. Although connector looked the same as the original, it would not fit into the slot.
