Very good case for my black iPod-NANO.
While browsing to find the ideal Nano-Case, I read in a previous review for this product that some kind of plastic was included in the package for Nano-screen protection, and that it was a useless, cheap piece of plastic.
In my opinion, this plastic protection, has turned out to be an EXCELLENT protection for my Nano-Screen. This “plastic” sticks nicely to the screen, and has NO ADHESIVE whatsoever, so you can remove and reapply very easily, leaving not a single trace on your Nano-screen (no bubbles either while on the Nano-screen).
The case itself is pretty rugged and offers excellent protection to my tiny iPod. It does add some bulk (not much), but at least, I’m now having less trouble finding the Nano over my cluttered desktop !!
All buttons and connections are easily accesible while wearing the case, so there’s really no need to be taking the Nano out of its protection.
Looks are great and high quality details.
I give this product a 4-star rating only because no instructions were included in the box for the correct application of the Nano-screen protection. Otherwise this product would be a 5+.

Belkin Carabiner Case for iPod nano 1G, 2G
This item is actually really great, it clips onto things like belts, jeans etc. Easy to take out and put in and feels really great in your hand. The only thing is that it comes with a really cheap piece of plastic to cover the screen. But even without that piece of plastic (which is very easy to take off). Infact it actually looks a lot better without the piece of plastic.
This cover really protects very nicely against scratches and looks really great just dangling from your jeans. Overall wonderful product and dont be fooled, it does use REAL LEATHER not pleather or anything cheap like that making it completly worth the price.

Belkin Carabiner Case for iPod nano 1G, 2G
I bought this case with the main reason for protection, and when i recieved it does the job the nano fits in from the bottom, and a small belt clips closing the the bottom case.
The belt aluminum belt clip can be removed so you can hold the case in hand, and a screen protector is given with the case that sticks on the screen, but i didnt use becausei didnt remove the original nano plastic cover im using it with it.
The case is ok you can charge, listen to music while the case is on but you cant use the dock for charging but without the case.
Thanks

Belkin Carabiner Case for iPod nano 1G, 2G
The Nano needs some kind of case along with any other iPod to prevent scratches and wear and tear. This case has all of that. It comes with a stick on screen protector that you should put on. This case has durability and security for your nano and its worth the price to. I got this case 6 months ago and i havent taken it off since. The only downside is that you have to take off the case to use it with a dock connector… but thats it.
And it looks cool to!

Belkin Carabiner Case for iPod nano 1G, 2G
I have used the black Belkin F8Z057 case for my 2nd generation iPod Nano for several months now. I liked it so much that I decided to track it down on Amazon and write a review, which I don’t do very often. I actually did not remember what brand this case was – the only words imprinted on the inside of the case are “NE NeuElements”. But a small black tag on the inside edge of the case had the tiny model number, so I finally found this Belkin listing.
PROS:
1. Very sturdy even without the iPod inside it. I have dropped my iPod once or twice with the case and did not even break a sweat worrying about it.
2. Carabiner clip is well constructed: I didn’t think I would like this clip, but now would not want a case without it. It’s very convenient to clip on a laptop bag or on your belt loop. If it bothers you it is easily removed altogether.
3. Workmanship: no defects in the leather stitching after several months of daily use.
4. Access to display and scroll wheel: the display is not impeded at all – the edges match up perfectly. The opening for the screen is an actual opening – the case does not have a clear protective cover built in. The scroll wheel circle also lines up correctly (slight impedence caused by depth of case – see CONS)
5. Plastic screen protector – this is a separate piece you can use if you choose to: it has not come off yet, even though there is no adhesive keeping it in place. It would peel off easily if I decided to take it off. The protector is slightly larger than the screen, so the edges of the protector are raised up a bit where it falls onto the iPod casing. This causes an actual small “bubble frame” around the entire outside edge of the screen. This is mainly visible when the display is not lit and light reflections hit it just right. I could resolve this by manually trimming a little of the protector, but it does not bother me. Just wanted you to know about it if you use it.
6. Easy to remove from case: there is a small silver clip at the bottom of the case that clips to the gray strap holding the carabiner. You can also snap the strap up behind the case for added secureness, but I don’t use the snap. It stays clasped well enough without also using the snap. I find it easy to undo that clip and slide the iPod in and out of the case.
7. Headphone and charger access: the headphone jack is not blocked at all by the case. The charging port can be used with a charging cable while the case is on, but you have to undo the clip and get the strap out of your way (some would list this as a CON – but it doesn’t bother me). I find it easier to slide the iPod out of the case when I want to sync or charge. If you have a dock I believe you would definitely have to remove the case!
CONS:
1. Hold button access: I’m not sure if this is a difference between 1st and 2nd gen Nano’s, but with my 2nd gen Nano the hold button does not properly match up to the opening in the case. The left edge of the hold button is covered up, making it almost impossible to get the hold button to slide. I never use the hold button, so it’s not a problem for my usage, but for those that do this will aggravate you! That’s why I gave my review 4 stars instead of 5.
2. Scroll wheel access: the depth of the case around the scroll wheel makes it slightly hard for my large thumb to hit the play/pause button without also punching the center button. I have gotten used to it and adjusted the way I hit the buttons to make up for it. Takes some getting used to, but if you have small fingers it probably won’t be an issue for you.
3. Plastic screen cover slightly too large and causes bubble – see #5 in PROS.
4. Charging port access – have to undo the strap to charge with a cable, or remove the case for a dock (not a CON for me, but it will be for some people).
Overall I would definitely recommend this case for the 2nd gen Nano for users that do not use the hold button. If you use the hold button religiously this case is probably not for you.
