I cannot say 100% that this battery killed my video card, but it was awfully suspicious. I did notice that the lenmar battery ran hotter than the apple battery, and then two days after using the lenmar battery, my display went dead. At the apple store they confirmed that the nvidia card was dead, and luckily they replaced it under warranty. When I got my laptop back the apple repair techs also replaced my old apple battery with a brand new one. So, 5 stars for Apple Store, and Apple Warranty, and 2 stars for the Lenmar battery, because without it, I would not have gotten a brand new Apple battery for free!

Lenmar LBMC348 Battery for Apple Laptop Computers
My Mac battery died on my Macbook pro a few days ago. Suddenly I found myself looking for a replacement. I was hoping not to have to pay the $129 or so for an original replacement battery. I have used Lenmar batteries before in both a digital camera and a camcorder. Those batteries seemed as good or better than the originals. As the Macbook pro is expensive I did not want to chance using some unknown brand like you usually find on e-bay etc. I bought this Lenmar because I have read Lenmar is a REAL battery maker..not some fly by night company in China etc. (Though they may be made in China..what ISN’T?
)
Long story short the battery to my eyes looks about 99.9% same as original re: size, color. MAYBE just the tiniest bit smaller..by like a millimeter, but fits just fine, looks fine.
Most importantly, on my first use with this Lenmar battery it lasted 3.5 hours! That was a mix of stuff like looking at You Tube,various web sites, reading mail etc. I did not do anything too memory intensive. I DID also use the Mac to play JUST radio for a while (Pandora) so the screen may have been dark for about an hour which I assume would make the battery go a bit longer Still anything over 2.5 hours I’m real happy.
As to another review claiming the battery seems to run hot..may have even damaged his video card?? I think NOT! The battery was almost cool the whole 3.5 hours..the surrounding areas on the bottom of the Macbook were twice as warm as the battery itself. In other words…the Macbook’s electronics may get a bit warm, hard drive etc..but 1000% as I checked four times, the Lenamr battery did NOT get very warm at all.
I am reviewing this battery after only one complete use. I can not say if it will last months, years..whatever..but my initial impression is it is every bit as good as the ORIGINAL if not better…
